General Manager (Howard Greeley Rural Public Power District - Nebraska)
Description
The Board of Directors of the Howard Greeley Rural Public Power District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of General Manager for the District.
A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field is preferred with ten years of progressively responsible experience in rural electric operations. An additional five years of experience may replace the degree requirement. The successful candidate will have excellent people and communications skills, proven leadership ability and a strong commitment to teamwork.
Howard-Greeley has 16 full-time employees serving 5,000 meters over 2,200 miles of lines. The District is a member of the Nebraska Rural Electric Association and purchases power through the Nebraska Electric Generation and Transmission Cooperative, Inc.
The District is headquartered in St. Paul on Highways 281 and 92, between the North Loup and Middle Loup Rivers. St. Paul with a population of 2218, offers the benefits of a small town environment, with excellent health care and educational opportunities.
