Journeyman or Apprentice Lineman (Midland Power Cooperative - Jefferson)
Description
Midland Power has a need for a lineman in our Iowa Falls Operations Center. This job requires a Class A CDL. The job entails but is not limited to the installation, removal, maintenance and or repair of all elements of Midland’s Overhead and Underground distribution infrastructure. Applicants must possess a diploma from a qualified powerline program. Must be safety conscious and routinely follow all applicable safety rules in place at any given time. Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Physical Examination, drug screen, and CDL check are part of the pre-employment process for this position. If this job is filled with an apprentice, due consideration will be made for past experience as far as placement in the apprenticeship steps.
