Journeyman Lineman (Access Energy - Iowa)
Description
Access Energy Cooperative in Mt.Pleasant, Iowa is seeking candidates for a Journeyman Lineman position. The candidate must be a graduate of an approved electrical power distribution program or have a minimum of five years experience as a Lineman. This position requires heavy lifting, pole climbing, and other strenuous activities. The candidate must be able to follow both oral and written instruction as well as communicate effectively both verbally and on paper. The candidate must understand the operation and maintenance of hydraulic equipment. The candidate must possess a Class A CDL and should be certified for First Aid and CPR. As Access Energy is committed to Safety the candidates must be safety oriented and be able to meet all safety standards set forth by Access Energy Cooperative standard operating procedures, OSHA, and ANSI standards. Pre-employment drug screening and physical will be required.
