Director of Communications (Des Moines)
The Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives (IAEC) seeks a Director of Communications. Must be able to lead and implement communications strategies, develop and deliver key communications tools and messages and manage all aspects of the department’s projects. Coordinate and direct all aspects of the Iowa Youth Tour (a program coordinated in partnership with a national association that takes approximately 45 high school students to Washington, D.C. every June.)
Applicants should have at least five years of experience and a proven track record of success developing and implementing multi-faceted communications programs, strong media relations skills, and excellent written, verbal and editing abilities.
