Energy Sales Specialist (Minnesota)
Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC), an electric utility serving 30,000+ members in Scott, Dakota, Carver, Le Sueur, Rice and Sibley counties, is seeking an Energy Sales Specialist responsible for selling Energy Wise programs through direct sales to members and building positive business relations with developers, builders, and contractors in MVEC’s service area.
Excellent communication skills a must. Must be able to work flexible hours, including after normal workday hours to meet with builders, contractors and members as needed.
A business degree or technical degree preferred, minimum of 5-10 years successful sales or customer interaction experience required. Hands on experience with residential electric heating and cooling products required. Some wiring experience preferred.
