Line Design Technician - Power System Engineering
| Power System Engineering, Inc. (PSE) has an immediate opening in our Madison, WI office for a Line Design Technician. This individual will use proven design standards and the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) to exceed client expectations while designing and field staking overhead and underground distribution and sub-transmission power lines. Projects may also include; easement negotiation and filing, tree-trimming negotiation and recording, railroad and highway permit filing, GPS data collection, ground line surveys, and any other duties that would be required to successfully fulfill requirements outlined by colleagues and clients. Line worker experience and knowledge of electrical distribution systems preferred. Working knowledge of computer software tools including MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to learn and adapt to line design staking software required. Positions will be filled at an entry level technician or senior line design level depending upon the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
