Journeyman Lineman & Apprentice Journeyman Lineman, Field Service Representatives - Consumers Energy
Consumers Energy, a consumer-owned energy company headquartered in Marshalltown, IA, has one position opening for either a Field Service Representative or Apprentice Field Service Representative. The position hired will report to the Nevada district office and work under the direct supervision of the Nevada Area Supervisor (foreman). Position performs numerous duties related to electric and natural gas distribution that includes construction, maintenance and repair of electric distribution lines, natural gas and related facilities, plus service work and other related and assigned duties.
Must have high school diploma or GED, plus completion of technical training in electric and/or gas maintenance, construction and safety. Must have a valid Iowa CDL license within 90 days after being employed.
The successful candidate must be extremely member/customer oriented, work in a spirit of cooperation with employees and customers, have integrity and be trustworthy. Will also need to be an avid learner, maintain a positive attitude, be committed to excellence and value teamwork, honesty and hard work. Attractive salary and benefits package.
