Check your outlets

Each year, almost 4,000 injuries associated with electric outlets are treated in hospitals.

The simplest and most effective way to protect against electrocution is by installing ground-fault circuit interrupters (FCIs). When replacing older and worn out outlets, consider installing three-wire or grounded outlets in place of the old two-pronged outlets.
