Southwest Iowa REC, an electric distribution cooperative, is seeking qualified applicants for an Apprentice/First Class Lineworker position at its Stanton facility.

Requirements
Candidates must be able to work on construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution utilities with a great emphasis on safety and OSHA regulation knowledge. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and CDL and be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug/alcohol screen. Candidates must have the knowledge and experience to operate all necessary equipment associated with powerline construction and maintenance. Candidates that have completed a certified lineworker program are preferred.
