Southwest Iowa REC, an electric distribution cooperative, is seeking qualified applicants for a First Class Lineworker or an Apprentice Lineworker position at its Corning, Iowa facility.

Requirements
Candidates must be able to work on construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution utilities with a great emphasis on safety and OSHA regulation knowledge. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and CDL and be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug/alcohol screen. Candidates must have the knowledge and experience to operate all necessary equipment associated with powerline construction and maintenance. Candidates that have completed a certified lineworker program are preferred.
