About Us:
As an electrical distribution cooperative, Prairie Energy Cooperative is seeking a full-time Customer Service and Billing Agent to provide exceptional customer service to our co-op members’ billing and payment inquiries. We value collaboration, excellence, and outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Respond to members and visitors as it relates to customer service tasks and communication.
  • Respond to member inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account changes.
  • Assist with account management and billing discrepancy resolution.
  • Educate members on billing policies and payment options.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve complex issues related to billing, payments and accounts as it relates to the members.
  • Maintain accurate records and identify process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years customer service and office experience, 1 year of accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
