Job Details
Southwest Iowa REC, an electric distribution cooperative, is seeking qualified applicants for the Line Foreman position at its Corning, Iowa facility. This position involves both hands-on work, supervisory responsibilities, and line design/staking.

Requirements
Candidates must be able to manage and oversee the work of others in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution utilities with a great emphasis on safety and OSHA regulation knowledge. Candidates must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and CDL and be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and drug/alcohol screen. Candidates must have the knowledge and experience to operate all necessary equipment associated with powerline construction and maintenance. Candidates must have completed a certified line worker program plus four to six years of related experience.
