Job Details
Fletcher-Reinhardt Co. is a family-owned, woman-owned, Full-Line Electric Utility Distributor. We sell all products from the meter on the house to and including the substation. Our customers include electric utilities, both public and investor-owned, industrial plants and other electric service industries. Our service territory includes Missouri, Illinois and Iowa. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic salesperson to cover the northern half of Iowa.
Responsibilities:
- To sell electrical equipment supplies to our public utility, municipal, co-ops and rural electric customers
- To make in person sales calls to assigned accounts in a set geographic area, while representing the multiple lines of products that F-R wholesales
- Prepare “blanket” bids, review bids, check on availability and pricing

Requirements
Requirements:
- 2-4 years sales experience
- Relationships with municipal or co-op customers and industry experience is highly preferred
- Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients in both oral presentations and written reports
- Analytical and mathematical skills as related to general business practices, pricing, mark-ups and margin calculations and percentage comprehension.
- Some overnight travel is required
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license that will allow us to insure you
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and required drug test
