Apprentice/Journeyman Lineman - Access Energy Cooperative, Mt. Pleasant

Access Energy Cooperative is seeking candidates for Apprentice/Journeyman Lineman position.

The candidate must be a graduate of an approved electrical power distribution program by May 31, 2026, or have prior job experience as an apprentice/journeyman lineman. The candidate must be able to follow both oral and written instruction as well as communicate effectively both verbally and on paper. The candidate must be able to solve basic math problems and understand the operation of hydraulic equipment.  The candidate must possess a Class A CDL drivers license and should be certified for First Aid and CPR. As Access Energy Cooperative is committed to Safety the candidate must be safety oriented and be able to meet all safety standards set forth by Access Energy Cooperative standard operating procedures, OSHA, and ANSI standards. Pre-employment drug screening and physical will be required. The successful candidate must live in or relocate to the Access Energy Cooperative service territory and be within 25 miles of the headquarters office in Mt. Pleasant.
